Please identify this. ANSWER: This was answered on 06/02/2026. ANSWER: MSC concurs with the OEM's recommendation. Section 7.4.2 (b), Deck Crane Hydraulic Winch Tear Down Inspection, is not required for this maintenance period. Please remove this item 7.4.2 (b) from the scope of work. b. A tear down inspection should include the hoist being completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected and replacement of all worn, cracked, corroded or distorted parts such as pins, bearings, shafts, gears, brake rotors, brake plates, drum and base. All seals and o-rings should be replaced during a tear down inspection. Note that 7.4.2 (a) is still required. a. Take a lube oil sample and send off for analysis. Drain and dispose of remaining oil. Replace with new oil. SPECIFICATION ITEM NO.: 570 PARA. NO.7.4.2 / 7.4.9 / 7.4.10 TITLE: Quantity of DOT/TC type extinguisher QUESTION: 1.
