DESCRIPTION
The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center, 809 Lamont St, Mt Home, TN 37684 has a requirement to Project Number 621-23-104. Contractor shall completely prepare the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for James H. Quillen VAMC as required by drawings and specifications for the relocation of Police Dispatch. All work performed shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, codes, VA policies/regulations, specifications, drawings and the SOW.
The period of performance will be 365 calendar days.
PRODUCT/SERVICE CODE: Z1DA – Maintenance of Hospitals and Infirmaries
This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C. section 8127(d).
NAICS Code 236220 – Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, applies to this requirement. The small business size standard is $45M.
The estimated range of construction is Between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000
This requirement will be procured per Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (RFO)
Overhaul Part 15, as a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process.
The evaluation factors and sub-factors under consideration for this requirement will be available
upon the solicitation release, which is anticipated to be on or by 22 July 2026.
This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business
(SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C §8127 (d). To be considered for award,
Contractors must be registered and certified by SBA DSBS and registered in the System For Award Management (SAM) database. All offerors are urged to contact the SBA DSBS
(https://dsbs.sba.gov/search/dsp_dsbs.cfm) and submit the required documents to obtain verification of their SDVOSB status if they have not already done so.
In addition to the requirements as set forth in the solicitation notice (to be issued), the proposed contractor must also be determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9. The Contracting Officer will determine responsibility prior to any award being made.
