STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) For the Procurement of a 15-Passenger Shuttle Bus. 1. BACKGROUND AND SCOPE The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to define the requirements for the procurement of one (1) commercial vehicle for 23 Force Support Squadron (FSS). The Contractor shall provide all vehicles, equipment, transportation, and warranties necessary to deliver one (1) 15-Passenger Shuttle Bus meeting the minimum specifications outlined below. 2. VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS: 15-PASSENGER SHUTTLE BUS The Contractor shall provide one (1) 15-passenger shuttle bus (14 passengers plus 1 driver) that meets the following minimum specifications: 2.1 Powertrain and Performance Engine: V8 Gas, V6 Twin-Turbo Gas, or Diesel equivalent, capable of supporting heavy passenger loads and frequent stops. Transmission: Automatic transmission with heavy-duty cooling suitable for towing. Towing Package: Factory-installed heavy-duty towing package (Class III or IV hitch receiver), including a 7-pin wiring harness, integrated trailer brake controller, and upgraded suspension to support towing safely. 2.2 Interior and Comfort Capacity: Configured to seat 15 personnel (14 passengers + 1 driver). Climate Control (A/C): High-capacity, dual-zone (front and rear) air conditioning and heating systems to accommodate all passengers in extreme temperatures. Seating: Easy-to-clean vinyl or heavy-duty cloth seating. All seats must be equipped with standard 3-point seatbelts. Flooring: Heavy-duty, slip-resistant rubber flooring. 2.3 Safety and Technology Safety Features: Advanced airbag system, 4-wheel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control, and a tire pressure monitoring system. -- 1 of 2 -- Visibility: OEM backup/rearview camera system with an interior dash-mounted display preferred but not required. 3. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Vehicle Condition Vehicle must be current model year or newer, delivered in pristine, new condition (free of damage, rust, or defects), and fully assembled, serviced, and ready for immediate operation upon delivery. 3.2 Warranty The Contractor shall provide the standard OEM commercial warranty for the vehicle. At a minimum, this should include a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and a 5- year/60,000-mile (or equivalent) powertrain warranty. Warranty documents must be provided upon delivery. 3.3 Manuals and Keys The vehicle shall be delivered with: Three (3) complete sets of keys. One (1) OEM Operator's Manual. One (1) OEM Maintenance/Service Manual (digital or hard copy). 4. DELIVERY AND ACCEPTANCE 4.1 Delivery Location Vehicle shall be delivered FOB Destination to: 23 Force Support Squadron (FSS) 5091 Gardner St., Bldg 400 Moody AFB, 31699 4.2 Inspection and Acceptance The Government Point of Contact (POC) will inspect the vehicle upon delivery. Acceptance will be based on compliance with this SOW. If a vehicle fails inspection, the Contractor will be responsible for correcting the deficiencies at no additional cost to the Government. -- 2 of 2 --
