To meet operational needs, the UAS Program requires two (2) new enclosed trailers designed to safely transport, store, and support UAS equipment in a variety of field environments. General Information 1.0 Scope of Work The Contractor shall provide two (2) new, fully assembled, enclosed trailers meeting the specifications outlined in this SOW and the attached technical checklist. Trailers will be used to mobilize sensitive, high‑value UAS equipment to incidents across the Rocky Mountain Geographic Area. The Contractor shall deliver the completed trailers to the designated USFS facility within the required performance period. 2.0 Background The Rocky Mountain Geographic Area UAS program requires durable, secure, and environmentally controlled trailers capable of supporting field operations in both interstate and rugged off‑highway environments. Trailers will be used to transport high‑value UAS aircraft, batteries, ground control stations, and associated equipment. Operational needs include: Robust security and storage capacity Safe navigation on both paved and uneven terrain Shore‑power capability for charging and equipment operation Adequate lighting for night operations Insulation and air conditioning to maintain stable temperatures for sensitive electronics and lithium‑ion batteries A compact footprint (minimum 6’x10’, maximum length 10’) to ensure maneuverability in remote areas Strong construction to support secure mounting and long‑term durability All detailed technical requirements are provided in Attachment A. 3.0 Contractor Requirements The Contractor shall: Provide trailers that fully meet all specifications listed in Attachment A Ensure all materials, components, and workmanship meet commercial quality standards Coordinate delivery with the USFS at least 7 calendar days prior to arrival Provide any documentation, manuals, or warranty information associated with the trailers Correct any deficiencies identified during inspection at no additional cost to the USFS 4.0 Government Furnished The USFS will not furnish any equipment, materials, or facilities for this requirement. All resources necessary to complete the work shall be provided by the Contractor. 5.0 Deliverables / Schedule Deliverable: Two (2) fully assembled UAS trailers meeting all specifications Delivery Deadline: Within 100 days of contract award Delivery Location: Powder River Ranger District 1415 Fort Street Buffalo, WY 82834 USFS Point of Contact: Dustin Kavitz – Authorized to receive delivered trailers The Contractor shall notify the USFS at least 7 days prior to delivery to coordinate receiving and inspection. The USFS will inspect the trailers upon delivery to verify compliance with all specifications. Acceptance will occur once all required features are confirmed to be present and functional. Any deficiencies must be corrected by the Contractor at no additional cost. 6.0 Travel No travel is required beyond delivery of the trailers to the designated location.
