Purpose and Intended Use The contractor shall furnish a new, fully assembled, fully outfitted general-use vessel to support Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge operations. The vessel will be used in nearshore and coastal waters to transport personnel, equipment, and supplies to and from offshore islands. Operations routinely occur in shallow flats with beach landings as well as wave-exposed nearshore waters. The vessel shall be suitable for routine operation in 2–4 foot wind-driven seas with additional swell conditions common to nearshore Atlantic environments. Boat Type and Configuration • Center console configuration • Outboard-powered vessel • New, current production model (no used or refurbished vessels) 3.
