The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Aireco Supply. This order will be for the following:
• 1 each – Keeprite Condensing Unit, Model KVD030D8 HT3B A, 208 3, R448A 1
• 2 each Keeprite Evaporator Coils, Model KMP470LE T3D, 208 3, R448A for the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC.
All equipment must be new, factory sealed, and match listed specifications located in the Charles George VAMC and have full and unfettered access to all OEM conditions. Aireco Supply has been identified as the only authorized dealer who can supply this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all expressions of interest received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. Interested contractors may identify their capability to provide the services prescribed within this notice and should provide sufficient data for the government to determine them as a comparable alternative to the intended source. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
This acquisition will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 13.106-1 (b). Expressions of interest should be sent via email to Harold McQuillia at harold.mcquillia@va.gov.
