36C24826Q0782 Page 1 of 69 COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION – REQUEST FOR OFFERS (RFO) This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial supply’s prepared in accordance with the streamlined procedures of FAR Part 12 (Commercial Products and Commercial Services) and FAR Subpart 5.2. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested, and no separate written solicitation will be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Offers (RFO). All clauses are current through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2026-01, effective March 13, 2026. DESCRIPTION The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract for the provision of all supplies, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, management, and transportation necessary to provide commercial automatic single bi-fold sliding door assemblies, in accordance with the requirements set forth herein. Only SDVOSB concerns registered and verified in the Small Business Administration (SBA) and System for Award Management (SAM.gov) are eligible to submit offers. SITE VISIT The Government will conduct a site visit to familiarize interested vendors with the existing conditions and locations associated with this requirement. Date: June 24, 2026 Time: 10:00 AM EST -- 1 of 69 -- 36C24826Q0782 Page 2 of 69 Location: Malcom Randall VA Medical Center 1601 SW Archer Road Gainesville, FL 32608 Interested vendors shall meet in the Main Lobby of the Bed Tower no later than the scheduled start time. Government personnel will escort attendees to the locations where the automatic bi-fold sliding door assemblies are to be installed. The purpose of the site visit is to provide vendors an opportunity to observe existing site conditions, verify measurements, review installation locations, and assess factors that may affect contract performance. Attendance at the site visit is strongly encouraged but is not a condition for submission of a quotation. Vendors are responsible for becoming familiar with all conditions that may affect contract performance. Questions will not be answered during the site visit. To ensure all prospective offerors receive the same information, all questions shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer following the site visit. Questions shall be submitted via email to: John.Shultzaberger@va.gov Questions must be received no later than June 26, 2026 by 11:00 AM EST. The Government reserves the right not to respond to questions received after the stated deadline. Responses to questions will be provided to all prospective offerors through a solicitation amendment to SAM.gov. Vendors shall allow sufficient time to comply with VA facility access and security procedures. Attendees may be required to present a valid government-issued photo identification upon arrival. No verbal statements, comments, explanations, interpretations, or other information provided during the site visit shall modify the terms of the solicitation. Only written amendments issued by the Contracting Officer are binding upon the Government.
