Q/A 27 July 2026 1. I do not see reference to product warranty. Chiller manufacturers void warranty if the start up of the chiller is not performed by factory technicians. Is a product warranty required? 1. For the warranty to be enforced, Carrier must accomplish the start-up if feasible. 2. 2.2 states delivery 2 weeks after award. Carrier may not have this chiller in stock. It typically takes two weeks after award in paperwork processing before a lead time is provided in writing. Is the 2 week request correct? The 2-week delivery is needed. 3. SAM has Mr. Ezzell and yourself listed as solicitation contacts. The SOW has Mr. Bowden and Mr. Wilson listed. Can we assume Mr. Bowden & Mr. Wilson are post award contacts? It is Mr. Ezzel and SSgt Hargrove. Mr. Bowden and Mr. Wilson along with Mr. Barajas, Chief of Material Control would be contacted when the unit arrives. 4. How crucial is the 2 week delivery expectation? Is a 12-16 week lead time feasible? See #2. 5. Regarding the Building 207 Chiller Replacement, Work Task 18397658, could you please clarify whether the requirement is for a complete chiller unit/skid, including all associated components, or for the chiller unit only?
