REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) Baler Hydraulic Cylinder NOTICE This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This is not a solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Government is seeking information from industry to assist in acquisition planning and market research. Responses will not be considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this RFI. Agency Information Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP)Office of FacilitiesWashington, DC Purpose The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of providing one (1) baler hydraulic cylinder, number 4518, 8 bore x 44.56 strokes (44 act) F.Mt. for the DCF baler, model number 203, serial number 994150, to the BEP in Washington, DC. Installation will be carried out by a government-employed stationary engineer from BEP Powerplant. Requirement Overview The contractor would be expected to provide a baler hydraulic cylinder with the following exact technical specifications: Hydraulic Cylinder Number: 4518 Bore Size: 8 inches Stroke Length: 44.56 inches Actuation: 44 Act Mounting Configuration: F. Mt. (Front Mount) Condition: New Compatibility: DCF Baler Model 203, Serial Number 994150 Delivery Information The Government desires delivery within ninety (90) calendar days after receipt of an order. Manufacturer name and part number. Product literature, specifications, and drawings (if available). Country of manufacture. Estimated lead time. Estimated delivery timeframe after receipt of order. Warranty information. Confirmation that the product is new and free from defects. Commercial Information• Available contract vehicles (GSA Schedule, SEWP, agency BPA, etc.), if applicable. Any minimum order quantities or special ordering requirements. Responses Interested parties should submit responses electronically in PDF format to jerkendra.holloway@bep.gov by June 22, 2026 at 5:00pm EST. Responses should not exceed ten (10) pages excluding capability statements, brochures, or supporting documentation.
