What this opportunity is

The Department of Defense is acquiring thermal batteries, specifically spare parts that are form, fit, and functionally interchangeable with existing systems. This opportunity is limited to Teledyne RISI, Inc., as they are the only approved source capable of providing these supplies. The notice type indicates that this acquisition is justified for other than full and open competition, meaning small businesses should track the solicitation closely rather than bid, as competition is restricted.
