Description

Amendment 0001: The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions submitted by vendors and extend the solicitation response date. Question 1: What is your recording subject?  NIST Answer: As listed in Statement of Work (SOW), the measurement subjects are in vitro neurons, neuronal organoids, and micro physiological systems with various cell types such as neurons or cardiomyocytes.   Question 2: How many recording channels channel are you looking for?   This will determine the channel capacity needed and head stages to be used.   NIST Answer: As specified in the SOW, ≥ 1000 simultaneous Voltage recording channels per well at minimum. Question 3: What is your implant type and connector? NIST Answer: As specified, the in vitro cells will be cultured directly on top of the HD-MEA surface and a culture well to contain the media is required.   Question 4: Is the subject going to be head-fixed. anesthetized, or freely moving during the recording. NIST Answer: No, the cells will be cultured directly on top of the HD-MEA surface.   Question 5: For freely-moving wired subjects, we also offer a motorized commutator called the Saturn.  Are you interested in commutator? NIST Answer: No, the cell location will be fixed directly on top of the HD-MEA surface.   Question 6: Do you require external device synchronization or planning to deliver a stimulus? NIST Answer: Yes, both are required.
