What this opportunity is

The Department of Defense is seeking commercial services for SOFAR Data as a Service (DaaS) through a total small business set-aside solicitation. This opportunity is specifically for firms that can provide the proprietary capabilities of the SOFAR Ocean Technologies' 400-instrument "Spotter" buoy package, which is essential for meeting the Navy's stringent operational requirements. As this is a sole-source acquisition, interested small businesses should monitor the notice on SAM.gov rather than submit bids, as the contract will be awarded directly to SOFAR Ocean Technologies, Inc.
