BACKGROUND
Building 3001, located at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, has an LG VRF system that is currently
inoperable and in need of repair. The system consists of 1 roof mounted outdoor condensing unit feeding
5 indoor units. The system was installed approximately 5 years ago. An LG certified technician was
brought in to diagnose the issue and the findings were:
“Heat pump VRF not heating. Found compressor circuit 1 not running or starting. Discussed with LG
Tech support. Found that the main PCB and the inverter board had issues.
Recommendation: Replace main PCB, inverter board and compressor 1. LG Model: ARUM216BTE5,
SN: 912KCCVOMW87”
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
The Contractor shall provide all management, manpower, supervision, equipment, materials and supplies
necessary to repair an LG Model ARUM216BTE5 VRF system as described herein. The work will be
performed at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 7601 34th Avenue, Minnesota, MN 55450.
The contractor will use LG certified components and supply a 90-day parts and labor warranty.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
The term of this contract will be for a period of 45 days from the Award Date. Delivery of all items under
this contract is subject to inspection and acceptance by the NCA Contracting Officer’s Representative
(COR) or Contracting Officer as appropriate.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1) All work shall be performed during normal cemetery hours of operation, 8:00 am – 3:00pm local
time Monday through Friday. The contractor may make a written request to work outside of
normal work hours when needed to carry out the specifications of this contract.
2) Federal Holidays: All work required under this contract shall be performed during normal
cemetery hours of operation. With the exception of Memorial Day and Veterans Day, work is
normally not conducted on Federal holidays. The following is a list of all Federal holidays:
