Culvert sizes will be listed on culvert schedule. 2.0 Background NA Contractor Requirements 3.0 Technical Requirements / Tasks Culverts will be 14ga aluminized/galvanized spiral ribbed corrugated steel pipe (no riveted culverts). Culverts should meet the following FP14 specification. Culvert bands will be the 24” wide style. 707.02 Metallic‐Coated Corrugated Steel Pipe . Furnish pipe, special sections (such as elbows, branch connections, and prefabricated flared end sections) and coupling bands conforming to AASHTO M 36 and either AASHTO M 218, AASHTO M 274, or AASHTO M 289 for the dimensions and thicknesses specified. 4.0 Government Furnished No Government furnished materials 5.0 Deliverables / Schedule The designated point of contact for the delivery point must be notified at least 48 hours prior to delivery to ensure facility will be unlocked. All culverts will be unloaded at their designated site. Culverts should be unloaded in a safe manner and to avoid damage to culverts. Rolling culverts off the transport is not allowed. Culverts should be stacked so that they do not block driveways or other material that may be present.
