SECTION I: Background
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is a component of the Department of the Treasury that
prints U.S. currency and other security products. The BEP is located in Washington, D.C, and is
approximately 1.4 million square feet in area, and is a combined production and administrative facility.
The Contractor shall procure and deliver two (2) 5WR -33 x 117-08D12AL Chilled Water Coils to the
Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Washington, DC, Facility. Replacement coils are needed to ensure
efficient cooling and dehumidification, precise temperature regulation, energy efficiency, sustainability,
and improve air quality control to the production directorate and offices, as well as the reliability and
longevity of the overall bureau AHU systems

3.2 Tasks
Delivery and acceptance by the COR/SME
3.3 Outcomes:
Upon delivery of the Chilled Water Coils to the BEP facility, the contractor shall perform a visual
inspection in the presence of the SME to ensure there is no damage or dent during transport

3.5 Special Delivery Instructions. Provide COR with the exact delivery date to schedule the
delivery of the chilled water coils to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Washington, DC facility
receiving platform /loading dock.
3.6 Performance/ Delivery Period. The period of performance shall be 90 days from the notice to
proceed date

3.8 Special Requirements.
3.8.1 Contracting Officer Representative (COR): The COR will be identified by a separate
letter issued by the CO. The COR monitors all technical aspects of the Contract and
assists in Contract administration. The COR is authorized to perform the following
functions: assure that the Contractor performs the technical requirements of the contract;
perform inspections necessary in connection with contract performance; maintain written
and oral communications with the Contractor concerning technical aspects of the
contract; issue written interpretations of technical requirements, including Government
drawings, designs, specifications; monitor Contractor's performance and notifies both the
CO and Contractor of any deficiencies; coordinate availability of government furnished
property, and provide site entry of Contractor personnel. A letter of designation issued to
the COR, a copy of which is sent to the Contractor, states the responsibilities and
limitations of the COR, especially with regard to changes in cost or price, estimates or
changes in delivery dates. The COR is not authorized to change any of the terms and
conditions of the Contract.
