Located at 2401 Hawkins Point Road Baltimore MD 21226, 270’ Vessel. 1.1 Government intended use is for blasting interior surfaces of Coast Guard 270’ vessel while in an enclosed tent. The work will include blasting operations of the interior tank surfaces of the vessel. Normal damage caused by the above work task will be at no cost to the Government. Rental will be at a firm fixed price regardless of the hours used. Any damage found outside normal wear and tears must be presented to Contracting Officer for approval prior to repair work being completed. COMMENCEMENT, PROSECUTION, AND COMPLETION OF WORK: Upon acceptance the contractor shall provide the equipment for 6 consecutive months between 07/11/26 and 01/11/27. Final period of performance will be determined by the Yard POC / Ship Superintendent. Description of Equipment: Description: 55,000 CFM Tier III 174 horsepower diesel powered unit. 1800 cfm diesel powered air compressor with drier. 160cu.ft. 8-ton media blast pot. An inspection report finding the equipment to be in good working order must be completed prior to delivery & forwarded to the Contracting Officer. Also to include equipment hours upon delivery on dust collector and compressors for yard’s environmental department audit of air quality during rental period. (2) 55,000 CFM Tier III 174 Horsepower diesel powered unit – Contractor must supply four 300 foot long 20-inch diameter duct hoses, The collector must have a reverse pulse jet system, auger system for removing dust and debris, and hopper mounted pneumatic vibrators. A flexible discharge hose and drum cover must be included for use with a 55-gallon drum. Unit must be trailer mounted with two 80 or greater gallon fuel tanks. Contractor is responsible for all maintenance and repairs during the rental period. If at any point during the rental period, the unit(s) should have a mechanical or performance issue the Contractor must provide a mechanic for repair 7 days a week upon notice from government. Repair must be made within eight (8) hours of notice. If unable to repair, the contractor shall provide a replacement within 48 hours. Collection units provided must have been manufactured within 5 years of the contract date. (2) 1800 CFM diesel powered air compressor – with Chicago fittings, after cooler, internal & external driers, & filter package. A quantity of three, 3 inches by 50-foot air hoses provided. Unit should have three bull hose spud connectors. Compressor must have been manufactured within 5 years of the contract date. An inspection report finding the compressor to be in good working order must be completed prior to delivery & forwarded to the Contracting Officer. (4) 160 cu. ft. Blast pot with 8 Ton media capacity. 150 psi rating cone bottom. (4) Thompson Valve II metering valves. Electric remote controls. Skid or highway trailer mounted. Contractor is responsible for all maintenance and repairs during the rental period. If at any point during the rental period, the unit(s) should have a mechanical or performance issue the Contractor must provide a mechanic for repair 7 days a week upon notice from government. Repair must be made within eight (8) hours of notice. If unable to repair, the contractor shall provide a replacement within 48 hours. Collection units provided must have been manufactured within 5 years of the contract date. If at any time the equipment is deemed non-functioning, Contractor has 24 hours to either replace or have equipment up and functioning. Contractor must be available 7 days a week for repairs or replacement. Delivery: Equipment must be delivered to the USCG Yard 2401 Hawkins Point Road Baltimore Maryland 21226. Bldg. 80 (paint shop) location between 7:00am and 9:00am. Access to the Yard during the rental period is coordinated through the Yard POC. All personnel shall receive visitors’ passes and clearance from USCG Coast Guard Yard Security located at the Main Gate. List of personnel requiring access shall be provided to the Yard POC twenty-four (24) hours prior to requiring access. Personnel will be required to provide full name, picture I.D. (valid driver’s license preferred), and date of birth. For non-US citizens, a passport will be required. The following forms of IDS are authorized: CAC, Foreign Passport containing appropriate visas, TWIC, Green Cards, US Passport, or MOST state IDs. Pick Up: Request automatic pick up after 6 months unless optional weeks are authorized by Contracting Officer. Only the Contracting Officer may modify the contract. A contract modification must be executed prior to an extension occurring. Schedule Period: 6 consecutive months between 07/11/26 & 01/11/27. Final period of performance will be determined by the Yard POC / Shop Superintendent. Damage to Government Property: The Contractor shall be held liable for any damage to government property caused by the Contractor. Any concerns must be brought to the attention of the POC. 8. Definitions and Acronyms: NA CONTRACT DEFINITIONS: CONTRACTOR. A supplier or vendor awarded a contract to provide specific supplies or service to the government.
