STATEMENT OF WORK 1. Objective/Requirements NASA Langley Research Center (LARC) Hypersonic Materials Environmental Test System (HYMETS) has a requirement to purchase an additional FMP2/2X pyrometer for the HYMETS facility to complement the existing FMPI pyrometer. 2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs The scope of this statement of work covers the objectives, work description, and deliverables necessary for the purchase of the FMP2/2X pyrometer for the HYMETS facility. Description QTY SpectroPyrometer: expert system multi-wavelength pyrometer with on- line tolerance and signal strength (emissivity), spectral and total emissivity correction, absorption (offgas) compensation, and integrated laser for aiming. Resolution is 0.1°C. Measurement is either continuous or on operator demand. Analog temperature output specified is 0 – 10 VDC. Results are printed to screen and to log in non-volatile memory. Raw data can be saved to non-volatile memory for later analysis if required. Unit includes integrated Windows PC. Data analysis for first 30 days after purchase is included.
