Please see attached spread sheet for Type and Building or site location 1.2 Per OPNAV 5090.1D, Commanders of shore installations shall ensure all personnel involved in design, construction, installation, spill mitigation, tank management compliance, and the operation of storage tanks receive appropriate storage tank training on an as needed basis to build and maintain proficiency in performing their specific job duties while assuring regulatory compliance. The government strongly recommends that prior to submitting a proposal the contractor l make a site visit and become familiar with the existing field conditions, scope of the work, and all requirements for completing the contract scope. The contractor shall examine the site with respect to the work to be performed to ascertain all factors that would affect the cost of the work to the extent that such information is reasonably obtainable. 3. NOTE: ALL MEASUREMENTS AND SITE CONDITIONS GIVEN IN THIS DOCUMENT ARE APPROXIMATE AND ARE IN NO WAY TO BE CONSTRUED BY THE CONTRACTOR AS ABSOLUTE. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONDUCTING A FIELD INVESTIGATION AND VERIFICATION OF MEASUREMENTS AND SITE CONDITIONS. THE GOVERNMENT WILL ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CONTRACTOR FAILING TO VERIFY FIELD CONDITIONS OR MEASUREMENTS GIVEN. A. Contractor will Provide Certified a Training Course for One member of the US Government to attend Tank Managers Course (CIN A-493-0217) each year of the contract 7. SCOPE OF WORK The contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, accessories and supervision to perform the work required and specified herein. All work shall conform to the safety requirements set forth in the most recent version of the Army Corps of Engineering EM 385-1-1 unless specified otherwise. Existing features to remain and new work shall be protected by the Contractor from damage due to work activities. Any damage to existing features to remain and new work shall be repaired or replaced in-kind at the Contractor’s expense. All waste shall be disposed of in accordance with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s regulations. Electrical work shall be completed by a licensed electrician. A.
