Description

STATEMENT OF WORK 81st CONTRACTING SQUADRON Furniture Move The contractor shall provide all necessary furnishing, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and management required to complete this project. The contractor’s Project Manager shall be responsible for on-site coordination for moving office furniture from the Contracting Squadron, Bldg 4605 (single story) to Sablich Center, Bldg 701 (First Floor), to include access to and operation of any equipment needed for loading, unloading and moving of furniture. The contractor shall disassemble and reassemble, as necessary, the office furniture listed in Attachment 1 and relocate to Bldg 701. The contractor shall mark items to ensure they are relocated to the appropriate location: The contractor shall also disassemble two 8’x10’ “U” shaped cubicles located in bldg. 4605, Rm 102. See attached photo. Each cubicle contains a customer counter, 4 B/B/F drawers and one overhead. The contractor shall reassemble into two stand-alone cubicles in bldg. 701, Rm 118. One “U” shaped 8’x10’ and one “L” shaped approximately 8’x8’. Spare parts are available in bldg. 4605 if needed. The contractor is responsible for post installation cleanup, which will include removal of all material, packaging and all other debris left as a result of this project. The contractor shall dispose of all debris and recyclable materials at the Keesler Recycling Center. Government dumpsters and/or recycling containers will not be available. General clean-up of material, packaging and work areas will be conducted during job progress (at the end of each day as a minimum) to minimize unacceptable appearance. All trash removed from the work site shall be disposed of in accordance with state laws. During installation the contractor shall protect all furniture and building materials, including carpet, existing within the space with industry approved protective coverings inclusive of craft paper, moving blankets and other types of material. The contractor shall not use protective materials that will leave any type of residual print, outline or imaging on any building, furniture or other Government materials. The contractor shall be responsible for repairs/replacement at no cost to the Government. The contractor shall be liable for any damage to Government property caused by the contractor or their representatives. Any damage identified by the contractor shall be immediately reported to the Contracting Officer. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7:00am -5:00pm. The contractor shall not work on recognized Federal Holidays. Note: Bldg 4605 is located off base. Contractors will be required to go through the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Area (Division Street Gate) prior to entering base. Bldg 4605 has a loading dock.
