STATEMENT OF WORK for FY26 SFS LATERAL FILING SYSTEM February 2026 FA462026QA218 Attachment 1 - Statement of Work 1 of 3 -- 1 of 3 -- Statement of Work (SOW) for FY26 SFS Lateral Filing System Fairchild AFB, WA 1. BACKGROUND: Fairchild Air Force Base maximizes space utilization through the use of lateral filing systems. This effective method of storing supplies allows for efficient utilization of space and ease of retrieval. 2. SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall furnish new lateral filing system, test for operational capability and disposal of any debris/waste in accordance with all state, local, and federal guidelines and regulations. 3. OBJECTIVES: Ensure efficient supplies, records and materials storage and handling. 4. REQUIREMENTS: BRAND NAME OR EQUAL Parts numbers and salient characteristics is specified by CLIN within Appendix A. All parts provided shall be new. No refurbished materials will be accepted. Standard manufacturer warranties on parts and labor rates shall apply. 5. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: All personnel employed by the Contractor in the performance of this contract, or any representative of the Contractor entering the government installation, shall abide by all Fairchild Air Force Base security regulations. Personnel performing the work requested will be escorted for the duration on the installation. Individuals must be able to pass a background check that will be conducted prior to entry of the installation. Individuals performing the work will be required to provide their full name, DOB, SSN, driver’s license issuing state and license number to gain access to the installation. 6. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: All work will be performed on Fairchild Air Force Base in the buildings/locations specified in the appendices and by CLIN. 7. APPENDIX: Appendix A: CLIN 0001 FA462026QA218 Attachment 1 - Statement of Work 2 of 3 -- 2 of 3 -- Appendix A: CLIN 0001 BRAND NAME OR EQUAL Part Number Item Description Qty MEG 125-1311S VCM Kardex Megamat 125 VCM 1 Salient Characteristics: 1. Units will come with a fixed standing position posting board at 39.4” high with light gray finish. 6. Unit will hold a minimum File capacity, linear file inches (L.F.I.) of 1,261 LFI, optimized to fit the space allocated. 7. Computer Interface – To controller located in work counter. 8. Unit will offer a manual bi-parting door with lock. 9. The model shall have self- balancing design such that units will not jam, tilt or skew, or otherwise become inoperable due to heavy shelves, empty shelves or uneven loading. 10. The unit shall have an automatic on/off interior task lighting integrated into the unit. 11. The unit shall be self-contained and not require any building modifications to install (i.e. subfloor). Vendor shall be responsible to ensure fit, form, and function of the file system including operator access within this room while maximizing capacity in LFI. The unit shall allow entry and exit access, and adequate access to the transaction counter of the unit. 12. Materials – This high-density vertical system shall be of high-quality steel construction with an automotive grade painted finish. 13. Electrical – Unit to plug into existing 110-volt wall outlet or hard wired into the outlet. CLIN 0001 Statement of Work specific information: 1. The contractor shall coordinate delivery, assembly, and installation of the BRAND NAME or EQUAL MEG 125-1311S VCM unit. 2. The contractor shall dispose all waste, garbage, or debris in accordance with all federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations. 3.
