Description

STATEMENT OF WORK USCG Base San Juan Galley Grease Trap Cleaning 1.0 Background BASE SAN JUAN Galley Grease trap Cleaning. 2.0 Scope of Work The Contractor shall provide comprehensive on-site Total Grease Trap Service for the designated facilities at USCG Base San Juan. 2.1 Service Frequency The Contractor is required to perform the total service at a frequency of two (2) service visits per month. 2.2 General Requirements The specific scope of services includes the following required tasks for each visit: Category Requirement Description Service Frequency Two (2) scheduled services per month. Pumping & Scraping Complete pumping and scraping of the grease trap's interior walls. Component Cleaning Thorough cleaning of the Inlet and Outlet of the grease trap. Material Disposal Safe disposition of extracted material and oil pick-up. 3.0 Regulatory & Legal Compliance To ensure all environmental and occupational safety standards are met, the Contractor must comply with the most current editions of the following regulations regarding the handling, transport, and disposal of Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG): Regulatory Framework Compliance Requirement -- 1 of 3 -- USCG Safety Standards Adherence to the Coast Guard Safety and Environmental Health Manual (COMDTINST M5100.47 series) for occupational safety and environmental protection on Coast Guard installations. EPA Guidelines Compliance with federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations governing the proper containment, transport, and disposal of FOG and related wastewater. Puerto Rico DRNA / JCA Strict adherence to the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DRNA) and Environmental Quality Board (JCA) permitting and documentation requirements for non-hazardous liquid waste hauling. Federal OSHA Standards Compliance with 29 CFR 1910 General Industry Regulations regarding workplace sanitation, hazard communication, and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for service technicians. 4.0 Security Access Requirements As USCG Base San Juan is a restricted military installation, the Contractor must comply with all base security and access protocols: Security Protocol Requirement Description Personnel Identification All Contractor personnel must possess and present a valid, REAL ID-compliant state driver's license, passport, or approved DBIDS (Defense Biometric Identification System) credential to enter the installation. Vehicle Inspections All Contractor service vehicles and equipment are subject to random anti- terrorism measures and full inspections by USCG Security Forces upon entry and exit.
