Description

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS – The contractor shall furnish all materials, components, and accessories necessary to support Information Technology (IT), Facilities Maintenance, and Security infrastructure projects. Datacom and Network Infrastructure The vendor shall provide certified, high-quality low-voltage materials that comply with TIA/EIA and NEC standards, including but not limited to: Copper and Fiber Cabling Systems – Cat6 and Cat6a UTP/STP cable, coaxial cable, multimode and single-mode fiber, fiber patch cables, and pigtails. Network Termination Components – Patch panels, modular jacks, couplers, keystone inserts, modular plugs, punch-down blocks, and wall plates. Fiber Management and Enclosures – Fiber trays, splice boxes, fusion splice sleeves, and rack-mount enclosures. Power Protection Equipment – Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), rack-mount power distribution units (PDUs), surge suppressors, and grounded power cords. Testing and Verification Tools – Cable certifiers, continuity testers, and optical power meters to verify conformance with network performance specifications. Security, Signaling, and Life-Safety Systems The vendor shall stock components that directly support life-safety, communication, and access-control systems, including: Access control readers, door strikes, power supplies, relays, and controllers (compatible with Cam-Dex/Hill-Rom systems). Surveillance cameras, network video recorders (NVRs), mounts, housings, and cable accessories. AiPhone and Nurse Call integration components such as interface modules, call stations, tone generators, and annunciators. Paging, intercom, and overhead speaker components including amplifiers, horns, bells, and power adapters. Electrical, Conduit, and Raceway Components Conduit bodies, fittings, and junction boxes (EMT, PVC, and flexible types). Raceway systems, surface-mount channels, wire mold, and cable tray fittings. Grounding and bonding components, compression lugs, splices, and bus bars. Electrical tape, heat shrink, warning labels, safety markers, and zip ties. Cabinets, Enclosures, and Racking Systems Server racks, wall-mount cabinets, and swing-frame enclosures. Cable management panels, vertical/horizontal organizers, and blanking plates Floor pedestals, equipment shelves, and environmental accessories (fan kits, filters). Consumables and Specialty Supplies Label printers, cartridges, wire markers, and safety signage. Portable tools for crimping, stripping, splicing, and fiber polishing. Cleaning kits and maintenance supplies for fiber and copper terminations. Network jumpers, patch cords, adapters, and repair connectors. Quality and Compatibility Standard All supplied items must: Be UL-listed, RoHS-compliant, and conform to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code). Match or exceed the quality and form factor of existing systems in use at GIMC. Be interoperable with Cisco, Hill-Rom/Baxter, Panduit, CommScope, and Belden product lines currently deployed. Include manufacturer warranties or certifications verifying performance standards. Be packaged and labeled to prevent damage and ensure traceability for inventory control.
