This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) under solicitation number 80AFRC26Q0006 for Geometry Optimization and Sensing with Integration and Flight Test (GOSWIFT). This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside requirement. The NAICS code and size standard are 336413 and 1,250 employees, respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this acquisition. In accordance with FAR 52.102, provisions and clauses have been incorporated by reference to the maximum practical extent. (ii) List of Items: CLIN # CLIN NOMENCLATURE PRICING ESTIMATED CLIN COST 0001 Aerodynamic Test Pod (flight-ready) FFP To Be Proposed (TBP) 0002 Over and Above Materials and Other Direct Costs T&M Not to exceed (NTE) determined by the Government 0003 Option 1: Second Aerodynamic test pod FFP To Be Proposed (TBP) TOTAL TBP -- 1 of 17 -- 2 (iii) Description of Requirements: The objective of the Geometry Optimization and Sensing with Integration and Flight (GOSWIFT) effort is to design, manufacture, and deliver an aerodynamic test pod that maintains the Outer Mold Line (OML) of a standard centerline 610-gallon external fuel tank used on an F-15D aircraft. The pod will support aerodynamic and flight test activities while providing internal volume for instrumentation and test equipment. The intent of the effort is for the pod to conform to the design provided by NASA and for industry to collaborate with the program engineering team to ensure the NASA produced design, which meets structural, aerodynamic, and integration requirements, remains manufacturable within schedule constraints (iv) Delivery Date and Location: The period of performance will begin upon contract award and is expected to span 14 months. Upon completion of all required work, the test pod and ground handling cart shall be shipped to NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards, CA after fabrication and assembly checks have been successfully completed.
