It is essential to provide services within the county boundaries; thus, a short-term rental is essential to meet this urgent need. 1.3 Scope The Hidalgo County USDA Service Center requires a short-term rental for office space to accommodate the Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service and Rural Development by meeting the general requirements listed below. 2 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The Contractor shall provide office space with the following general characteristics: •Office space: Minimum of 8000 square feet, Maximum of 10,200 square feet. One story building or a multi floor building with working elevator access and ADA compliant. •Located within Hidalgo County, Texas county limits. •The office space shall meet the minimum requirements identified in the International Building Code for office space occupancies (HVAC, Flooring, wall, ceiling finishes, number of restrooms). •The office space shall be ADA compliant and shall provide easy access to the public. •The office space shall provide for sole access and control by the USDA Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service and Rural Development. •Adequate security- Exterior Doors Must Lock •Exterior space must be adequate to store and maintain an 8 ft in width X 20 ft in length CONEX storage container. •Parking for a minimum of 15 visitors, and 25 employees/ government vehicles. Handicap parking spaces must be designated. Adequate lighting for security in parking area outside of daylight hours. Parking should include an area for 3 trailers, approximately 15 ft in length, 8 ft in width, preferably for the driver to pull through. -- 3 of 7 -- 4 •Available for a base
