Description
HIP Study SOW
30 creep specimen blanks will be provided by NASA.
Vendors must have all the necessary equipment and sensors in-house to perform the
necessary detailed reports required for this research study. In addition. The vendor must be
flexible on the HIP parameters and schedule.
HIP parameters will be within these maximums
o Maximum temperature: 2000 °C
o Maximum pressure: 200 MPa
o Maximum hold and cooling time in total: 8 h
Pressure medium – Argon 4.5
Documentation must be provided to NASA for each HIP cycle performed.
30 HIP cycles in total will be performed.
HIP cycles must be completed 12 weeks after awarded PO
