Trash disposal: Where is collected trash to be deposited — in an on-site Government-
provided dumpster, or is oƯ-site haul-oƯ to a sanitary landfill the contractor’s

confirm that running water is available at the bathhouse facilities for the performance of
janitorial tasks.
Answer: Yes, running water in all four (4) bath houses.
Can the Government clarify whether grounds policing includes activities beyond litter
removal, such as vegetation management, removal of fallen limbs, storm debris cleanup,
or mowing/trimming services?
Answer: No ground policing or vegetation removal. Only cleaning and taking the trash
from the 4 bathrooms.
Contract Management vs. On-Site StaƯing: PWS 1.4.14 requires the designation of a
Contract Manager and alternate who must be available between 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,
Monday through Thursday. The Instructions to OƯerors require identifying at least one
Primary and one Alternate personnel who will perform the services. Does the Government
require the Contract Manager to be one of the two on-site service personnel, or can the
Contract Manager be an oƯ-site administrative lead available via telephone/email during
the specified hours?

discrepancies or questions regarding their personnel.

bags, and cleaning supplies in order to meet the requirements. Toilet paper will be a
minimum of soft, two-ply toilet paper and size to fit toilet paper dispensers. All trash
bags and liners must have a thickness of 3.0 mil or greater.
