Statement of Work (SOW) JLTV Simulator 1.0 Scope The seller shall provide one (1) new Joint Lightweight Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) driving simulator assembly and all associated components required for direct installation on a Joint Lightweight Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) driving simulator. All work and materials shall meet the requirements outlined in this Statement of Work (SOW). 2.0 Requirements 2.1 Assembly Requirements The seller shall provide one (1) new (not refurbished, rebuilt, or used) JLTV Driving Simulator assembly, that meets the following requirements: • Must be fully compatible with the OEM parts used on a JLTV . • The company will be responsible for installation of the driving simulator as outlined in the quote. • All areas of the simulator will be taped off to assist with easy installment and placement of the simulator. • All wires must be stowed away and present a “neat and orderly” appearance. No wires shall be in any area that high foot traffic is expected. • DSDU emulator assembly, including forward and rear camera views and five interactive control screens with full interaction and control of the virtual vehicle • Must have CTIS functionality • Fording capability • SAES functionality • Drivetrain and axle lock-up controls • Accurate placement of vehicle components in comparison to a drivable JLTV • Accurate operator field of view as a drivable JLTV • Must be able to operate in advanced training scenarios and mission-based exercises -- 1 of 4 -- 2.2 Included Components The assembly shall include, at minimum: • Three (3) 55” LED flat screen displays (225º field-of-view) • Remote Controlled side-view mirror adjustment • Virtual training environment with paved area, dirt roads and off-road areas • Package of introductory training scenarios • True Steer™ digital servo steering system • 6 speed automatic transmission • Two-Way radio • Simulated functional DSDU (Driver’s Side Display Unit) • Authentic OEM parts including: • Throttle, Foot Control--Oshkosh • JLTV Shifter Mount--Oshkosh • JLTV Shifter--Oshkosh • Nut, M10, JLTV--Oshkosh • JLTV Steering Column Assy--Oshkosh • JLTV Steering Wheel--Oshkosh • JLTV Horn Button--Oshkosh • JLTV Ignition Panel--Oshkosh • JLTV Rocker Switch (Combat OVRD)--Oshkosh • Nut, M6, JLTV--Oshkosh • JLTV, Label (Engine) --Oshkosh • Axle Switch Keypad JLTV--Oshkosh • JLTV Rocker Switch (Battery Disconnect)--Oshkosh • JLTV ESC Switch, PB, SPST--Oshkosh • JLTV Cover, Brake Pedal--Oshkosh -- 2 of 4 -- • Light Switch Keypad JLTV--Oshkosh • JLTV Seat--Oshkosh • JLTV Mirror Joystick--Oshkosh • JLTV Brake Pedal Oshkosh • JLTV Rocker Switch - Black out switch--Oshkosh • 3 Degree of Freedom motion system • Desk with computer, two flat screen displays, keyboard and mouse • Situation Display for instructor view • Dispatch Radio for two-way radio communication • Comprehensive user’s guide All components must be new and fully functional upon delivery. 3.0 Warranty The seller shall provide a minimum one-year warranty covering paint, finish quality, corrosion protection, and all included components. This warranty includes: A. If a defect occurs during the warranty period, the purchaser must immediately communicate with the seller’s Customer Service Department and, if directed to return a component to the factory, a Return Authorization number will be given to document and control same. Seller will not be liable for any item returned without a Return Authorization number. All transportation charges must be PREPAID. If, upon examination by seller, the component is determined to be defective in either workmanship or material, seller will repair or replace (at its option) such component without charge for either component(s) or labor. Expendable items such as audiovisual materials, bulbs, filters, fuses, belts, etc., are not warranted. B. Telephone, fax and on-line support will be provided by seller as needed. Under extraordinary conditions, as determined solely by seller, additional on-site service support calls will be made by seller during this initial period at no additional cost to the original purchaser. C. Seller shall have no liability for any loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use or the inability to use the Simulation Systems. D. This warranty does not apply to any product that has been subject to negligence, accident, misuse, improper operation, or has in any way, been tampered with, -- 3 of 4 -- altered or repaired by any person other than seller, an authorized seller service organization or to any product which has not been serviced and maintained in accordance with seller’s or other manufacturer's operation and maintenance manual or related instructions, or whose serial number has been altered, defaced, or removed. Monitor or Plasma Display image burn-in is not covered. Warnings in the User’s Guides for proper operation must be adhered to. E. Transporting, storing, or operating the simulation systems without proper protection to prevent moisture, dust, dirt, or other foreign matter from falling on or blowing into the system shall be considered negligence, misuse and improper operation, which shall void all warranty. 4.0 Pricing The seller shall provide the total contract cost as one firm-fixed price covering all materials, components, and warranty requirements described in this SOW. 5.0 Inspection and Acceptance A representative from the receiving organization will inspect the delivered assembly prior to acceptance. Acceptance will occur only after the product is verified to meet all specifications in this SOW. Furthermore, training on all equipment must be completed in order to establish proper use of all equipment to prevent misuse. 6.0 Delivery Delivery terms, schedule, and location shall be in accordance with the awarded contract and any applicable modifications.
