Accordance with DFARS 252.237-7023(b), the below identified contractor services performed
under this contract are essential contractor services in support of mission essential functions.
These services are required to be performed on-site to support minimum sustainment of drinking
water operations; telework is not authorized:
PWS 3.2.3 Drinking Water Program
3.2.3.1 The Contractor shall furnish all sample containers and analyze all
samples required for testing/sampling aboard Marine Corps Base
(MCB), Quantico, VA. Testing frequency shall follow the appropriate
regulation requirement.
PWS 3.3.2 Drinking Water Samples Collection Parameters
The contractor shall collect the water samples from a central collection
site within a 15-mile radius of MCB, Quantico, VA, or from the Mainside
Water Treatment Plant MCB, Quantico, by 2:00 PM on a varying schedule
to be arranged by both parties. The contractor shall be prepared to
transport and analyze bacteriological water samples within the six (6) hour
hold time allowed.
3.3.2.1 Mainside Drinking Water Treatment Plant

b. Cyanide (CYN3)
c. Diquat by EPA Method 549
d. Fluoride
e. Fumigants by EPA Method 551.3

3.3.2.2 All sample containers shall be delivered to the Water Treatment Plant,
1303 Caddy Road, MCB, Quantico, VA 22134.
3.3.2.3 The contractor shall be capable to provide sample analysis seven (7) days
per week, 52 weeks per year, all while keeping within all sample hold
times.
3.3.2.4 The contractor shall ensure that test results are provided on time, within a
seven (7) day response period. The contractor must report test
abnormalities to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Plant
the same day the information is available to the lab.
