Description

The Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD 20670 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to Control Southern Inc., 3850 Lakefield DR, Suwanee, Georgia 30024-1241 (CAGE: 3T9G8) on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.102(a), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Facility and Plant Maintenance Division located at the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), Naval Air Station (NAS), Jacksonville, FL, utilizes the Machinery Health Monitoring System (MHMS) to sustain its critical Condition Based Maintenance program. The MHMS is the primary system operated by the Reliability Based Maintenance team to improve and sustain the operational reliability of industrial and facility equipment throughout the site, which is vital to overall fleet readiness. This requirement seeks contract maintenance, software support, and calibration services for pre-existing, proprietary equipment and software. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
