Statement of Work Commercial Refrigerators, Freezers, and Gas Grill for Panama’s CMR, USA Embassy Post Location: Panama, Panamá Address: Chief of the Mission Residence at La Cresta, Calidonia, Panamá Prepared By: The US Department of State, MGT/FAC Preparation Date: March 2026 General Description This Statement of Work (SOW) covers the procurement and door-to-door delivery of commercial refrigerators, freezers, and a gas grill to the USA Embassy’s CMR located at, La Cresta, Calidonia, Panamá. Installation services and warranties must -- 1 of 5 -- be included in this scope. All equipment must comply with Department of State regulations and relevant safety standards. Equipment must be delivered in a manner that -- 4 of 5 -- prevents hazards such as falls, structural damage, or interference with embassy operations. • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA): Delivery personnel must comply with OSHA standards for safe handling and transportation of materials. • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1): Recommendations for material handling, lifting techniques, and environmental hazard mitigation during delivery. Delivery Requirements • Equipment must be delivered door-to-door to the USA Embassy’s CMR at La Cresta, Calidonia, Panamá. • Delivery must include all necessary documentation, including material specifications, safety certifications, and compliance with Department of State security standards. Warranties of minimum 1 year must be included. If the offeror is not in Panama, it must present a proof of joint venture or liability delegation letter to a representative in the country. • All the equipment must be installed and be left ready to use. Additional Considerations • The equipment to be received can be “of equal specifications”, in case another brand is considered. • Equipment must integrate with existing kitchen and storage infrastructure, ensuring no interference with operational systems. • Consultation with the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS) or the Office of Safety, Health, and Environmental Management (OBO/OPS/SHEM) may be necessary to ensure compliance with applicable standards. -- 5 of 5 --
