This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. All interested companies shall provide offers for the following: Supplies Red River Army Depot Directorate for Maintenance has a requirement for MLRS Proof Load Pods 24 ea Tactical load pods, 12 ea Proof load pods. 1. This purchase description sets forth the minimum requirements for the modification and supply of 36 ea inert empty launch pod containers (LPC) Part Number 13027900, NSN 1340-01-122-3506. 24 ea of the LPC’s will be converted into tactical load pods (SKU 0768) and 12 ea of the LPC’s will be converted into proof load pods (SKU 0767). Place of Performance. RRAD transportation will drop off pods at Contractor site and pick up the completed MLRS Pods within a 200-mile radius of RRAD. Contractor must have the capability to take Core assets off trailers and load completed assets onto RRAD trailers. RRAD Quality team will travel to the contractor’s facility and inspect completed MLRS Pod prior to acceptance. Task. All pods under this purchase description will be modified in accordance with attachments: a. M-26 Proof Load modification tasks are described in drawing: SKU 0767. b.
