Scope Of Work Required:
The purpose of this project is to upgrade the outdated communications infrastructure currently in use by the Security Guard Branch. The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, installation, programming, and testing necessary to implement a fully functional and modernized Motorola-based communication system. We will require 40 portable radios for our patrols to carry on their person daily. To charge 40 radios we will require 10 multi-unit charging stations that can charge 6 radios or batteries simultaneously. We require 19 mobile radios to mount in our vehicles. We require 4 base stations to install in certain static posts, including our headquarters base station that our dispatch operates out of.
The scope includes, but is not limited to:
- Procurement and delivery of required Motorola communications equipment and accessories
- Installation of communications equipment in designated facilities and vehicles
- System programming in accordance with mission-specific frequency, channel, and encryption requirements
- On-site testing and validation of system functionality
- Removal of obsolete communication hardware, if applicable
- Basic user training on new systems
- Provision of manufacturer warranties and technical documentation
All work must comply with current DPG, Department of War, and Motorola technical standards.
