1 1333ND26QNB190467 - NIST Granite Paver Maintenance and Repair THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN REVOLUTIONARY FAR OVERHAUL (RFO) 12.201-1 SIMPLIFIED PROCEDURES. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, AND A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THE SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED USING SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF RFO 12. The solicitation number is 1333ND26QNB190467 and is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2026-01 dated March 13, 2026. 1352.215-72 INQUIRIES (APR 2010) Offerors must submit all questions concerning this solicitation in writing to the Contract Specialist, Richard Stevens, at Richard.Stevens@nist.gov. Questions should be received no later than three (3) calendar days after the Site Visit. All responses to the questions will be made in writing, without identification of the questioner, and will be included in an amendment to the solicitation. Even if provided in other form, only the responses included in the amendment to the solicitation will govern performance of the contract. (End of Provision) SITE VISIT A site visit will take place on August 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM EST. The site visit shall begin promptly at 10:00 AM EST. Potential Contractors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Attendees shall meet at NIST Campus, 100 Bureau Drive, Bldg. 301 Gaithersburg, Maryland. Contractors who are planning to attend the site visit shall e-mail their intention to attend to Philip Huynh at philip.huynh@nist.gov, no later than 10:00 AM EST on August 12, 2026, with the following information: a) Company name b) Names of all individuals attending the site visit (Name must match photo ID exactly) c) Country of Citizenship of all individuals attending the site visit For non-US Citizens, the following additional information will be required: 1) Title 2) Employer/Sponsor 3) Address Failure to register will result in individuals being denied access to NIST, and subsequently, the site visit. -- 1 of 12 -- 2 1333ND26QNB190467 - NIST Granite Paver Maintenance and Repair It is the sole responsibility of each Contractor to register for the site visit. Contractors must pick up a Visitor's Badge at the Visitor's Registration Center located at the Main Gate (Gate A, off Bureau Drive). Please ensure all individuals bring photo identification or they will be denied access to the facility. Under the REAL ID Act of 2005, agencies, including NIST, can only accept a state-issued driver’s license or identification card for access to federal facilities if issued by states that are REAL ID compliant or have an extension. BACKGROUND: The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Gaithersburg campus contains granite paver sidewalks, plazas, and stairways at Building 101. Over time, portions of the paver system have settled, mortar beds have deteriorated, and individual pavers have cracked, creating trip hazards and maintenance concerns. This requirement is to restore the existing paver systems located at Building 101 and throughout the NIST Gaithersburg campus while preserving its historic appearance. DESCRIPTION QTY UNIT UNIT PRICE TOTAL 0001 Bldg. 101 Main Entrance Work Contractor shall provide all materials and labor necessary to complete repairs, maintenance, renovations, and alterations to existing granite pavers at the NIST Building 101 Main Entrance in accordance with attached Statement of Work. 1 EA 0002 Bldg. 101 Side Entrance Work Contractor shall provide services to complete future repairs, maintenance, renovations, and alterations to existing granite paver systems located at the NIST Building 101 Site Entrance in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. 1 EA 0003 Additional Granite Paver Repair and Maintenance Allowance Contractor shall provide additional repairs, maintenance, renovations, and alterations to existing granite paver systems located at the NIST Gaithersburg Campus. 1 EA Offeror shall complete the attached Unit Pricing Spreadsheet.
