Scope. The content of this specification describes the minimum requirements for a new Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Horizontal Boring & Milling Machine. The contractor shall be responsible for the complete removal of the existing equipment, installation of all new equipment, training personnel, rigging, quality assurance, and necessary equipment to provide a turn-key system in Shop 97408, Building 472 located at FRCSW North Island, CA. This will replace the HS6R Boring-Milling machine in the Cold Room and the new location for this machine will be in the Beryllium Copper Shop. 2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS.
