Scope. The content of this specification describes the minimum requirements for a new Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Horizontal Boring & Milling Machine. The contractor shall be responsible for the complete removal of the existing equipment, installation of all new equipment, training personnel, rigging, quality assurance, and necessary equipment to provide a turn-key system in Shop 97408, Building 472 located at FRCSW North Island, CA. This will replace the HS6R Boring-Milling machine in the Cold Room and the new location for this machine will be in the Beryllium Copper Shop. 2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS. The documents listed in this section are cited in sections 3 and 4 of this specification. This section does not include documents cited in other sections of this specification or recommended for additional information or as examples.
