Can the Government identify the incumbent contractor and advise whether the current services are being performed by a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or a combination of providers?The contract is currently being held by Chadron Medical Clinic; however, how the incumbent has elected to provide services is proprietary. The Statement of Work indicates that services are generally expected one or two days per week. Would the Government consider alternative recurring schedules (e.g., one full day every other week or another mutually agreed-upon schedule), provided the annual 400-hour requirement is satisfied?Exact schedules will be mutually agreed upon; however, the nature of these services (i.e. meeting the needs of students) may limit the kinds of alternative schedules available. If a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is proposed, will the Government accept remote physician collaboration/supervision where permitted under Nebraska law, or is onsite physician supervision required?The Department of Labor will permit supervision as authorized by Nebraska Law. What is the current average On-Board Strength (student enrollment) at the Pine Ridge Job Corps Center?The current numbers are 97 but could hit a maximum of 171. Have the full 400 annual medical service hours historically been utilized, or has actual usage varied from year to year?Although utilization can be affected by holidays and other scheduling, an offeror needs to be prepared to fill the full amount of hours. What Student Health Record or electronic medical record system is currently used, and will training be provided to contractor personnel prior to the start of performance? There is an electronic system for prescriptions; however, everything else is done via paper charting. What is the anticipated timeline for credentialing, badging, and onboarding following contract award?The turnaround time for credentialing is usually less than a week and badges are not usually required. Onboarding is usually short as well. In the event the primary provider is unavailable, what is the Government's expected timeframe for providing an approved substitute provider?There is flexibility in permitting days to be made up if a provider is unable to provide services for a short period of time. However, if the absence is long-term or the provider becomes no longer able to provide services in any capacity, the contract requires a replacement be provided in a timely manner If a proposed provider has an active DEA registration but is in the process of obtaining Nebraska prescribing authority, will that satisfy the proposal requirements, provided all required licensing is complete prior to the commencement of contract performance? No—all proposed providers need to have valid credentials at the time the quote is submitted in order to be considered responsive. If an offeror proposes a combination of a Physician and a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant that collectively satisfies the annual 400-hour requirement, will that approach be evaluated equally with a single-provider solution? Quotes will be evaluated based on the factors listed in the solicitation—single versus multiple providers are equally permissible.
