All work will occur at the Fresno Air National Guard Base, California. The contractor is responsible for furnishing and installing all project management, supervision, labor, materials, and equipment to complete the items listed in this Statement of Work. The work involves reconditioning the interior and exterior of the facility, specifically focusing on painting, mirror installation, floor leveling, the placement of athletic flooring mats, electrical and lighting upgrades, and drainage modifications. The contractor shall provide the government with a complete and usable product that will be inspected/accepted by the government at the completion of the project. All information included in this document, along with the instructions and standards referenced in the document, shall be considered as part of the Statement of Work. 2.0 SITE OF WORK All work will occur at: Fresno Air National Guard Base 5323 McKinley Ave Fresno, CA 93727 3.0 STATEMENT OF WORK 3.1 Objectives: The purpose of this project is to accomplish five distinct facility improvement objectives at Gym (B124). Objective A: Facility Painting The purpose of this sub-project is to prepare and paint both the interior and exterior portions of the building. • 3.1.1 Visit the site to take precise measurements and verify the conditions of the interior and exterior surfaces. • 3.1.2 Remove all existing mirrors from the walls. Prepare all interior surfaces (approximately 5,651 sq. ft. of wall, including the roof/ceiling) to ensure proper adhesion of the new paint. • 3.1.3 Apply primer and paint to the 5,651 sq. ft. interior area, ensuring a smooth, even, and durable finish. • 3.1.4 Prepare the exterior surfaces (approximately 5,078 sq. ft. of wall) to ensure proper adhesion and weatherproofing. • 3.1.5 Apply primer and exterior-grade paint to the 5,078 sq. ft. exterior area. Objective B: Mirror Installation The purpose of this sub-project is to install wall mirrors inside the gym. • 3.1.6 Prepare the designated interior walls for mirror installation • 3.1.7 Furnish and securely install gym mirrors covering a total of 2,214 sq. ft. of wall space. If any of the existing mirrors were damaged during removal/storage, contractor is responsible for replacement. New mirrors shall be of the same size and quality as the ones removed • 3.1.8 Ensure all mirrors are level, properly supported, and free of defects, sharp edges, or distortion. Objective C: Floor Preparation and Mat Installation The purpose of this sub-project is to properly clean and seal the existing floor and install protective athletic flooring mats inside the facility. • 3.1.9 Prepare the existing interior floor by power washing and sealing all cracks on the existing concrete surface to ensure a clean and smooth base -- 3 of 10 -- CUI CUI • 3.1.10 If necessary, adjust and raise the existing interior floor drain(s) so they sit flush with the floor elevation. Clean the existing drain line by hydro jetting from the interior drain (center of gym floor) to the exterior (north) drain to assure all drains are flowing. • 3.1.11 Furnish and install interlocking 3/8 inch (min) 2x2 foot square light gray rubber slip-resistant athletic mats covering a total interior square footage of 2,592 sq. ft. • 3.1.12 Ensure the mats are properly fitted, seamed (if applicable), and secured to prevent shifting or tripping hazards. Objective D: Electrical and Lighting Upgrades The purpose of this sub-project is to update the facility's air circulation and lighting systems. • 3.1.13 Demolish and remove ten (10) existing ceiling fans. • 3.1.14 Furnish and install ten (10) 52-inch ceiling fans with LED lights. • 3.1.15 Replace eight (8) exterior light bulbs with energy-efficient LED bulbs. • 3.1.16 Replace twenty-five (25) interior light tubes with energy-efficient LED tubes. Objective E: Drainage Improvements The purpose of this sub-project is to mitigate backflow issues inside and outside the facility. 3.1.17 Furnish and install one-way drain flow traps on both the interior and exterior drain
