NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract under statutory authority set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. The NAVFAC FE ROICC Yokosuka intends to negotiate and award a non-competitive, firm-fixed-price contract to Tadano Infrastructure Solutions Co., Ltd. Scope of Work: The proposed action is for the acquisition of replacement services to upgrade the control system for the Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries (IHI) portal cranes, LC47 and LC48. The contractor shall provide all specialized labor, material, engineering expertise, proprietary software, technical specifications and equipment necessary to complete the control system upgrades to restore operational readiness and ensure safe operating conditions. Submission Instructions & Capabilities: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A solicitation package is not available and will not be posted publicly. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested parties must submit a written notification of interest and a detailed capability statement demonstrating their ability to satisfy this requirement.
