Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulations Overhaul (RFO) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services procedures will be utilized. Codes for services or supplies : North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code: 561210 - Facilities Support Services Business size standard: $47.0M Primary Product/Service Code: Z1JZ - MAINTENANCE OF MISCELLANEOUS BUILDINGS Description: The Auke Bay Laboratories requires a service agreement for the monitoring, maintenance, and repair of the Building Automation System (BAS). The BAS was installed in 2013 after an open solicitation and is a proprietary system designed by Automated Logic. The system operates the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, sea water systems, and waste treatment systems, in addition to providing monitoring for those systems and lab systems. The system uses proprietary equipment and open architectures to provide monitoring and control of our building systems. The WebCtrl server provides a graphical approach to manage, control, and monitor the BAS functions. BAS equipment and field panels communicate on a dedicated independent network utilizing BACnet, LonWorks, BACnet/IP, and TCP/IP protocols. Intended Source: Due to the proprietary nature of the system, this requirement will be awarded as a sole source to Meridian Systems, LLC. Meridian Systems, LLC is the only vendor in Alaska authorized to work on Automated Logic systems. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation or request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. No award will be made on the basis of quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit their interest and capabilities no later than July 15, 2026 at 12:00 PM Pacific Time.
