PREAMBLE / VORBEMERKUNGEN A1. DESCRIPTION OF WORK / BAUBESCHREIBUNG A1.01 General / Allgemein The project includes the dismantling and installation (including delivery) of two (2) Chillers, as well as the replacement of the ICA & DDC incl. connection to the Building Management System (BMS). In order to get an exact overview of the location of the construction site, the project must be visited after prior consultation with the contracting officer. Since the facility is cooled by these Chillers, it is to minimize the downtime of the cooling system. (depending on the outside temperature). Das Projekt umfasst die Demontage und Installation (inkl. Lieferung) zweier (2) Kaltwassersätze sowie die Erneuerung der MSR & DDC inkl. Aufschaltung und Visualisierung auf die Gebäudeleittechnik (GLT). Um sich einen genauen Überblick über die Lage der Baustelle machen zu können, muss das Project nach vorheriger Absprache mit Contracting center besichtigt werden. Da das Gebäude ausschließlich über diese beiden Kaltwassersätze gekühlt wird, ist die Ausfallzeit des Kühl Systems auf ein Minimum zu reduzieren. (je nach Außentemperatur) A1.02 Location of Job Site / Lage der Baustelle Building # 8280 is located outside the Smith Barracks Area in a separately fenced- off area in Baumholder and used as a training center. The Chillers to be replaced is in the mechanical room in basement. As the Chillers are installed in the basement, they can only be brought in through the outdoor stairwell or the freight elevator. The opening and closing of auxiliary or insertion openings and suitable lifting gear is part of the contract and must be taken into account. The use of the building should be possible during the construction work without major disruption to operations. Accesses and emergency exits are to be kept free and secured in such a way that users are not endangered. The work area is to be properly secured during work interruptions (construction fence). DRAFT -- 3 of 23 -- Page 4 of 23 Das Gebäude # 8280 befindet sich außerhalb des Smith-Barracks-Geländes in einem separat eingezäunten Bereich in Baumholder und wird als Trainingscenter genutzt. Die zu erneuernden Kaltwassersätze stehen im Technikraum im Keller des Gebäudes. Da die Kaltwassersätze im Keller installiert sind, ist die Einbringung nur durch die Außentreppe oder durch den Lastenaufzug möglich. Das Öffnen und Schließen von Hilfs bzw.
