Roller/Packer Attachment for Grader

STATEMENT OF WORK/SPECIFICATIONS PROJECT TITLE: Packer/Roller Attachment PROJECT DELIVERY LOCATION: The Packer/Roller and all attachments listed in the statement of work shall be delivered to 445 E Navajo St, Springerville AZ 85938. PROJECT SCOPE: This project is for the purchase and delivery of a packer/roller attachment for a grader. DELIVERY DATE: Time to complete the work and have it delivered to the project delivery location is by 9/30/2026. STATEMENT OF WORK The Contractor shall furnish, manufacture as required, and deliver one (1) grader-mounted packer/roller attachment, complete with all components and freight described herein, to the delivery location identified above. The packer/roller shall be a rear-mounted, pneumatic-tire compaction attachment that mounts to the Government's existing Caterpillar 140M motor grader and allows the grader to blade and compact in a single pass. The unit shall attach to the grader's rear ripper mount and shall include a quick-attach interface compatible with the Cat 140M ripper and an accumulator (down-pressure/pressure-relief system). Pricing shall include all freight from the point of manufacture to the delivery location. The Contractor shall be responsible for the labor, tools, equipment, and expertise necessary to transport and deliver the completed unit. The Contractor shall submit the manufacturer's specifications and/or product data sheet for the offered packer/roller with its quotation so the Government can confirm the minimum salient characteristics in this SOW are met. Optional Line Item: Integrated pick-up/towing hitch compatible with the Cat 140M motor grader. SPECIFICATIONS Type: Rear grader-mounted, pneumatic-tire packer/roller; mounts to the grader rear ripper. Condition: New, Unused. Minimum compaction width: 75 inches. Tire type: Pneumatic. Solid/non-pneumatic wheels do not meet the requirement. Tire rating: 14-ply minimum. Wheel configuration: Minimum two rows, minimum five wheels per row (minimum 10 wheels total), arranged to provide continuous, overlapping compaction across the full minimum 75-inch width Compatibility: Shall mount to and be compatible with the Government's Caterpillar 140M motor grader, including quick-attach to the Cat 140M ripper and an accumulator / pressure-relief (down-pressure) system. Freight: Delivered, freight included, to 445 E Navajo St, Springerville AZ 85938. Submittal: Manufacturer specifications/product data due with the quotation. Option: Integrated pick-up/towing hitch (Cat 140M compatible). WORK REQUIREMENTS: Purchase or manufacture all materials or equipment listed above for the grader attachments. Provide labor, tools, equipment, and expertise to transport and deliver the materials to Springerville AZ.
