Performance Work Statement – JANITORIAL SERVICES
INTRODUCTION:
The contractor shall furnish all labor to provide aseptic and aesthetic housekeeping cleaning services. Cleaning services shall be performed in a manner that will maintain an infection control compliant facility condition, present a neat and professional appearance, and shall meet all of The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, and National Environmental Cleaning Standards. OBJECTIVE:
The objective is to optimize facility sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in support of ECHCS’s mission of providing quality healthcare in a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing medical facility. The Contractor shall provide cleaning and remediation services that prioritize removal of all soiling, stains, marks, scuffs, and other foreign material while also enhancing infection control by disinfecting all surfaces. This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, floor scrubbing, burnishing, shampooing carpets, high/low dusting (up to 12 feet), cleaning restrooms (sinks, counters, walls, partitions, floors, commodes, grout, urinals, and dispensers), steam cleaning, cleaning doors/entry ways, cleaning glass up to 12 ft., cleaning stainless steel, cleaning water fountains, cleaning walls, cleaning staff lounges (counters, sinks, floors, tables, walls, dispensers, baseboards, and trash cans), cleaning dispensers/drip trays, cleaning grout, and removal of trash/cardboard and all other general housekeeping duties required in a hospital setting.
HOURS OF OPERATION/PLACE OF PERFORMANCE
The Contractor shall perform services by this contract to include holidays and weekends. The breakdown for each facility is listed below.
Rocky Mountain Regional VA: The Contractor should be available Monday through Sunday 07:00 to 23:30 MT to address common areas and non-direct patient care areas
Day Shift: 0700 to 15:30 MTSwing Shift 1430 to 23:30 MT
Fisher House: The Contractor should be available Monday through Sunday 07:00 to 15:30 MT
Day Shift Only: 0700 to 15:30 MT
Valor Point Domiciliary: The Contractor should be available Monday through Sunday 6:00 to 20:30 MT.Day Shift Only: 08:00 to15:30 MT
There is flexibility in hours for Valor Point. It just needs to be 8 hours daily between 06:00 to 17:00 MT.
