SOW: Revision: Basic Date: 5-12-2025 Prepared by Samuel Stockton Jr/SCMS/GUEAC/ (478) 497-5131 Statement of Work C-5 Aft Center Cargo Door “C” Model P/N-4F69010- 101A/102A NSN’s 1560-01-296-6316 1560-01-297-9975 SECTION I: SCOPE 1.1 This SOW will allow for an inspection and overhaul of C-5 Aft Center Cargo Doors “C” Model, P/N 4F69010-101A/102A and NSN’s 1560-01-296-6316/1560-01-297- 9975 and satisfy existing MICAPs. This SOW was also developed to provide the most updated and accurate engineering data for the purpose of repairing, maintaining and fabricating the Aft Center Cargo Doors. 1.2 The separate NSN’s MUST be overhauled as a single assembly set and must have previously been assembled together on the same aircraft (“A-to-A” assembly). SECTION II: APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS AND REFERENCE DATA 2.1 The following Technical Orders (T.O.) form a part of this document to the extent specified herein. 2.2 Technical Documents: T.O. 1C-5M-3, Structural Repair Instructions T.O. 1C-5M-23, Corrosion Control Manual T.O. 33B-1-2, Nondestructive Inspection T.O. 1C-5M-4-1, Illustrated Parts Breakdown Airframe Group T.O. 1C-5M-4-5, Illustrated Parts Breakdown Flight Control and Instrument Systems 2.3 JEDMICS drawings: 4F69010, 201211891 SECTION III: WORK REQUIREMENTS 3.1 All work performed under this SOW shall be accomplished in accordance with the information listed in section II above. 3.2 WR-ALC shall have available for fabrication or repair work any applicable and necessary material, parts, and/or equipment listed on the face of drawings for part numbers 4F69010-101A/102A. -- 1 of 3 -- SOW: Revision: Basic Date: 5-12-2025 Prepared by Samuel Stockton Jr/SCMS/GUEAC/ (478) 497-5131 3.3 Work performed under this SOW includes all actions necessary to return a reparable item to a serviceable condition that will offer the user a maximum amount of trouble-free service. 3.4 If de-painting is deemed necessary, de-painting according to T.O. 1C-5M-23, Section 2, Paint Removal and Repainting. 3.5 The C-model Aft Center Cargo Doors shall be visually inspected IAW 1C-5M-3 para 1.23.2, Detailed Visual Inspection, for cracks, corrosion, dents, punctures, loose and missing fasteners, and unauthorized or nonconforming repairs. 3.5.1 Do NOT inspect any honeycomb skin panels, as these are all 100% replacement parts. 3.5.2 Inspect all frames and fittings for corrosion IAW TO 1C-5M-23 para 1.7.1.1, Optical Inspection. 3.5.3 Evaluate and repair corrosion damage and corrosion prevention measures including all plating requirements in accordance with Lockheed drawing 4F69010 and T.O. 1C-5M- 23. Remove and replace the honeycomb skin panels at 100%. 3.5.4 Perform a detailed visual inspection (DVI) of the LHS and RHS Lock Installations (4F69200-101A/-103A) IAW 1C-5M-3 para 1.23.2. 3.6 No more than two repairs and no more than three negligible damages on any one frame are authorized, at completion of component repair. Replace individual components that fall outside of these limits. For damage, other than listed above or beyond limits stated herein, contact program office via AFMC Form 202 for disposition. 3.6.1. Damages that fall within repair limitations according to this SOW, Section 3.6, shall be accomplished in accordance with T.O. 1C-5M-3 and T.O. 1C-5M-23. 3.6.2. Provide per Lockheed drawing 4F69010. 3.7 Remove and replace all perimeter rub strips and rubber seals (i.e., 4F61417-246A) and all centerline seals (4F69025-101A) IAW Lockheed Dwgs 4F69010 and 4F61419. 3.8 The C-Model Aft Center Cargo Doors shall be finished in accordance with TO 1C- 5M-23 Sections 2, Paint Removal and Repainting, and USAF Drawings 201211891 and 4F69010-101A/102A, Latest Revisions. -- 2 of 3 -- SOW: Revision: Basic Date: 5-12-2025 Prepared by Samuel Stockton Jr/SCMS/GUEAC/ (478) 497-5131 3.9 Following finish system application and full cure, apply Corrosion Preventive Compound (CPC) IAW TO 1C-5M-23 para 1.8.2, Areas for Application of Corrosion Preventive Compound, and 1.8.3, Application of Corrosion Preventive Compound. 3.10 Perform a final visual inspection IAW 1C-5M-3 para 14.8.4, Visual Inspections, of subject item. If no unresolved defects are noted, turn into supply as an A condition asset after packaging per relevant Special Packaging Instructions (SPI).
