This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in RFO FAR 12.201-1, additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are requested of competent vendors, as identified hereunder. Request for Quotation (RFQ) N5523626Q0115 is issued as a Sole Source acquisition . This solicitation is being processed using the procedures of RFO FAR Part 12. The Government intends to solicit and contract with only one source, Fairbanks Morse Defense for the parts listed on the Product Description under the authority of RFO FAR 6.103-1 and 12.102 on a sole source basis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
