Version 06/09/2026 Page 1 of 2 Statement of Work Suction Drum Replacement Parts SECTION I: Background 1.1 The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) operates specialized banknote production equipment that requires reliable and continuous performance to support mission-critical currency manufacturing operations. The existing suction cylinder assembly at the Fort Worth, Texas Facility (WCF) has reached a condition requiring replacement to maintain operational efficiency, equipment reliability, product quality, and production availability. To restore full operational capability, replacement of the suction roller assembly and associated mechanical components that are specific to SOI-III is required. The necessary removal, replacement, align, test, and assembly will be completed in-house by Electro- Machinist Subject Matter Experts in accordance with manufacturer specifications and operational requirements. BEP intends to include up to three (3) additional Suction drum assemblies and associated parts as option quantities. SECTION II: Purpose 2.1 Product, Service or Outcome Needed. • Replace the existing suction cylinder assembly with a Suction Roller. • Restore equipment performance and reliability. • Minimize downtime and production disruptions. 2.2 Scope of the Product, Service, or Outcome. The Contractor shall furnish all replacement components, spare parts, and incidentals necessary to complete the replacement of the suction cylinder assembly. SECTION III: Technical Requirements/Tasks/Outcomes 3.1 Provide the following OEM replacement parts: A. Suction Roller Complete B. Tooth Belt Gear C. Toothed Belt Power-Grip D. Spacer Disc E. Locking Ring F. Locking Ring G. Feather Key -- 1 of 2 -- Version 06/09/2026 Page 2 of 2 H. Seal Ring I. Taper Pin 3.2 Parts: All supplied parts shall be new, OEM-certified, free from defects, compatible with existing equipment configuration, and delivered with traceability documentation SECTION IV: Documentation 4.1 Documentation: OEM Parts Documents shall include part numbers, certificates of conformity, and packing lists. The contractor shall provide user manual plus maintenance document in English. The documentation shall include engineering drawings, operation, and maintenance manuals, and purchase component information. SECTION V: Warranty 5.1 Warranty: Contractor shall provide a two-year warranty on components and parts for the system. Warranty period shall begin after the delivery and acceptance of the parts being procured. Contractor should provide warranty certification for all components/parts before warranty begins. Contractors shall also provide a point of contact for the purchase. SECTION VI: Deliverables SECTION VII: Special Delivery Instructions 8.1 Performance / Delivery Period. Contractor shall deliver all parts 25 weeks after contract award. The period of performance for this contract includes three (3) options for additional parts.
