STATEMENT OF WORK Table Mountain HVAC Services --------------------------------------- U.S. Department of Commerce National Telecommunications and Information Administration Institute for Telecommunication Sciences 1. BACKGROUND The Institute for Telecommunication Sciences (ITS) provides research and development support for the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) by performing basic research in radio science that provides the technical foundation for NTIA’s policy development and spectrum management activities, as well as solving telecommunications challenges for other Federal agencies, state and local Governments, private corporations and associations, and international organizations. Additionally, ITS addresses emerging telecommunications, information technology, and security challenges and contributes to the creation of telecommunications standards that support the full and fair competitiveness of the U.S. communications and information technology business sectors. 2. OBJECTIVE ITS, as custodians of the Table Mountain Field Site and Radio Quiet Zone, requires quarterly HVAC Service to Table Mountain as part of the regular Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities. 3. Two (2) Major P.M.’s (1 Heating Season and 1 Cooling Season) and 2 Minor P.M.’s, the following itemized list will detail work performed. Evaporator/Filters: • Replace/ Clean filters • Clean Coil, Condensate Pan, Trap as needed Blower Section • Mounting Bolts Tight/Fan Guards bolts tight • Blower Wheel moves freely • Check Voltages, Amp draw on fans, Compare to nameplate Electrical • Check all connections/tighten as needed. • Check voltages and compare them to nameplate. Controls • Check all electrical connections, including comm wire, all safeties. Compressor Section • Check for leaks • Check Compressor mounts • Cap Tubes (Not rubbing) • Proper refrigerant levels, Temps • Check motor Amp Draws and compare them to nameplate. • Clean Condenser Unit Coils (Part of Major P.M. Once a year) Furnace Section • Blowout Furnaces (Major PM) • Check the Heating section • Clean Flame Sensor -- 2 of 3 -- 4. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE The HVAC Service shall be completed at the following Government location: NTIA – Table Mountain Field Site 8600 N 39th Street Longmont, CO 80503 Address is for the facility West gate. North gate access is also available via Nelson Road. 5. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE Service starts at the time of the award and does not exceed five years after the award. -- 3 of 3 --
