TNF IT Upgrade Products Page 1 Supply Buy Tongass Agency Dedicated Internet Service Extension 1.0 General The purpose of this purchase is to upgrade equipment to extend Agency Dedicated Internet (ADI) service to all systems and users requiring the service, throughout multiple facilities on multiple Ranger Districts on the Tongass National Forest (TNF), Alaska. 2.0 Description and Specifications The contractor shall provide the following items:  Plywood backboard: Fire-retardant-treated in accordance with Section 2303.2 of the International Building Code, 2024 edition. ¾ inch thick, 4 ft x 8 ft. Either CDX interior fire treated, or ACX fire resistant. Include 1/2 gallon of light gray fire-retardant paint per sheet of plywood.  Fasteners for backboard: 8 or #10 wood screws. Length: sufficient to allow at least 1-1/4” of thread into the stud. Verify drywall thickness prior to ordering. Minimum of 15 fasteners per backboard.  Cabinets: Manufacturer-assembled four-post frame enclosed by side and top panels and front and rear doors, designed for mounting telecommunications equipment. Width compatible with EIA/ECIA 310-E, 19- inch equipment mounting with an opening of 17.72 inches between rails. Enclosed, swing out, 12U. Wall mount. Material: aluminum or steel. Finish: Manufacturer’s standard, baked-polyester powder coat. Depth: Coordinate with depth of the UPS. Back pan depth: 6”. Color: black. Load rating: 150 lbs. Door style: Tempered glass. Provide proper lugs for irreversible crimp style bonding to Facility’s grounding point. Provide lag screws to fasten TMGB to wall, screw length to allow at least 1-1/4” of thread into stud. Verify drywall thickness prior to ordering.  Grounding cable: AWG 1/0 stranded, green jacketed ground cable with two-hole, long barrel (double crimp) grounding lugs on each end of the ground cable. Length: 50 ft.
