Uniform Alteration Services STATEMENT OF WORK June 2026 1. DECRIPTION OF SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED: The following services will be provided in accordance with the specifications and guidelines outlined in Air Force Instruction 36-2903 (a copy will be provided to contractor): a. Hemming of uniform pants/slacks b. Hemming of uniform skirts w/lining c. Hemming of jacket sleeves – uniforms with lining (service dress uniform) d. Sewing of stripes – uniforms with lining (service dress uniform/lightweight blue jacket) e. Sewing of stripes – uniforms without lining f. Sewing of name tags, badges, patches – not on pockets g. Sewing of name tags, badges, and patches – on pockets (pockets cannot be sewn shut) h. Flight Suit Velcro i. Flight Suit Rank j. Hat- rank k. Flight Jacket Rank l. Velcro, flight jacket 2. HOURS AND DAYS OF PERFORMANCE: a. Service members will drop off garments to the tailor during the tailor’s regular business hours. Tailor will measure for proper pant lengths, skirts lengths, and sleeve lengths for the blue and service dress uniforms in preparation for hemming and performance of the above listed services. b. The alterations will be completed and ready for pickup by service members within one (1) week of the garment drop-off date. 3. SCOPE OF WORK: The vendor will be required to furnish all labor, supplies such as thread and equipment such as a sewing machine to provide tailoring services listed above. 4. PAYMENT: The contractor will provide a monthly bill, and payment will be made using the Government Purchase Card (VISA). Payment will not be provided by any other means. -- 1 of 2 -- 5. SERVICE OUTSIDE THE SCOPE OF THIS CONTRACT: The vendor may perform only services covered in this contract.
