JANITORIAL SERVICES This statement of work (SOW) describes the requirements for the Contractor to provide cleaning services for the industrial facility 2 business days a week (Tuesday and Thursday) and are expected to be onsite for a minimum of six hours each days to complete daily (Tuesday/Thursday), weekly and monthly requirements. LOCATION: CG Industrial Production Detachment (IPD) Matthew E. Schlimme Industrial Facility 100 Arsenal Street Building 17 St. Louis, MO 63118 PROJECT MANAGER: CPO Joseph Medfisch Office: (314)771-6044 Fax: (314)772-7298 (And/or his designated representatives) WORK HOURS: Tuesday and Thursday 7am – 1500pm only Work day will be no less than 6 hours per work day WORK AREAS: Business Offices, conference rooms, civilian lounge, male and female bathrooms, male and female locker rooms, Computer rooms and offices in computer rooms, hallways, front entrance area, Second deck break room, stairway leading to second floor, second deck office space, second deck bathrooms (2), Second deck offices (2), office in center bay, office in carpenter shop. Scope of Work These work item describe the requirements for the contractors to clean the following area: (Each will be broken down by specific task on a Daily, Weekly, and Monthly basis LOBBIES AND CORRIDORES Tuesday and Thursday Dust horizontal surfaces to six feet Clean fingerprints from walls, doors, and handles Wash entry glass and door frames Vacuum carpets wall-to-wall (as applicable) Clean and sanitize drinking fountains Clean building directory boards (as applicable) Dust picture frames (as applicable) Clean fingerprints and soil from lobby furniture Remove litter from planters Weekly Dust door surfaces and frames (special attention required to hinged side) Spot clean painted wall surfaces Clean and polish entrance threshold plates Vacuum upholstered furniture ( as applicable) Completely dust planters (as applicable) Polish unfinished bronze, brass , chrome , and metal surfaces Monthly Machine clean and polish resilient floors Clean and polish stainless, chrome and metal surfaces Dust exterior surfaces of light covers and diffusers GENERAL OFFICES, PRIVATE OFFICES LOUNGES, AND MEETING ROOMS BOTH DOWNSTAIRS AND UPSTAIRS Tuesday and Thursday Solid waste collection Gather all waste and remove to storage area designated for trash by building owner representative Remove only what is waste receptacles or otherwise clearly marked as waste, trash, etc.. Dam/ Dust where necessary Keep wastebaskets free of dust, debris, and residue Replace liners as needed Recycled papers are to be collected and removed as designated by building owner representative Hard surface floors Sweep all hard floors surfaces with treated dust mop Keep all areas clean and free of trash and foreign matter Remove dust from corners, behind radiators, under furniture, behind doors, and where sweepings were pick up. Damp mop, keeping floors free of streaks, mop strands and skipped areas Keep walls baseboards and other surfaces free of splash Spot clean spillage from floor Carpet spotting Clean spills from carpeted areas Remove smudges, marks, or spots without causing unsightly discoloration. Extensive spots, spills, etc that require shampooing or extraction will be cleaned during the next scheduled carpet cleaning Carpet vacuuming Vacuum all carpeted areas Vacuum so that nap lies in one direction Remove staples from carpet Dust and soil removal Remove all dust streaks from surfaces Remove all dust, soil, water stain, spots, streaks, and smudges from surfaces Remove dust corners, crevices, moldings, and ledges Dust ledges, sills, flat surfaces to six feet high Keep desk tops and horizontal surfaces of counters, credenzas, and low files free of dust and spills Keep glass desk top free of soil, dust, streaks, and spots Keep railing, ledges, grills, fire apparatus, doors, and radiators dust free Keep all available horizontal surfaces free of obvious dust Keep dusted surfaces free of oils, spots, or smudges while using tools for dusting Damp wipe hand marks, smudges, soil, dust, and , spots from walls and wainscoting Polish kick plates, push plates, and push bars to a lustrous appearance Polish metal surfaces and bright work to remove smears, stains, and finger marks, and to provide a uniform luster Telephones, desk accessories and paper Dust telephones and desk accessories as needed DO NOT DISTURB PAPERS ON DESK Furniture Dust spot wipe chairs for soil and prints as needed DO NOT DISTURB PAPERS ON FURNITURE Glass Spot clean from entry glass Doors, door frame, and thresholds Spot clean doors and door frames as needed Dust inside of all door jams Keep thresholds clean and free from oil, grease, soil, and grime. Remove debris from metal thresholds Walls and switch plates Spot clean walls and wall switch plates as needed Lights, blinds, and drapes Leave on only designated light(such as lobby lights) Leave Venetian blinds and drapes in uniform order: down and closed unless otherwise specified Dust blinds Repairs and emergencies Report damage or needed repairs to building office (use log book to document this report) Tile floor Damp mop with special attention to corners and scuff marks. WEEKLY Dust air supply vents and return vents Vacuum carpets wall-to-wall, including carpet edges, under and behind furniture Vacuum upholstered furniture including under and behind cushions Wash all doors, frames, handles, and plates to remove solid build-up as needed MONTHLY Wash waste receptacles that do not have plastic liners Wash inside of office windows Wash outside office windows RESTROOMS MAIN FLOOR AND SECOND Tuesday and Thursday Empty all waste receptacles and replace
