1.0 Introduction/Background: NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) has designed a
large-scale heater for an upcoming ground test effort and is looking to procure specified commercial-off-
the-shelf (COTS) quartz-tungsten-halogen (QTH) lamps for use in the heater.
2.0 Scope of Work: This statement of work (SOW) pertains to the procurement of commercial-off-the-
shelf (COTS) quartz-tungsten-halogen (QTH) lamps.
3.0 Objectives: The large-scale heater will be one structure in the overall test setup design being
formulated by NASA AFRC. Procurement of the QTH lamps will allow for integration and testing of
the heater.
4.0 Description of the Work/Contractor Tasks: Contractor is to deliver commercial-off-the-shelf
(COTS) quartz-tungsten-halogen (QTH) lamps per the quantities identified in the section noted
“Government furnished information.” To preserve the NASA AFRC project schedule, the contractor is
requested to complete delivery within a maximum of 14 weeks after contract award 5.0 Deliverables:
Contractors are to provide NASA with shipping information two days in advance of the QTH lamp
