STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
Utility Task Vehicles (UTVs) – PMT San Diego
1.0 BACKGROUND
The Performance Monitoring Team (PMT) San Diego site requires Utility Task Vehicles (UTVs) to support daily operations. These vehicles will be used to transport personnel and test equipment between maintenance locations and work sites. The UTVs must be capable of safely transporting multiple personnel and equipment while operating on installation roadways.
2.0 SCOPE
The contractor shall provide two (2) new Utility Task Vehicles (UTVs) that meet the requirements specified in this Statement of Work. The vehicles shall be delivered fully assembled, operational, and ready for use.
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 General Requirements
UTVs shall be new, commercially available, gas-powered vehicles
Vehicles shall be suitable for transport of personnel and test equipment in a military installation environment
Equivalent products meeting the stated requirements are acceptable
3.2 Capacity and Configuration
Seating Capacity: Minimum of four (4) personnel via two (2) rows of seating
Payload Capacity: Minimum of 800 pounds, with a desired capacity of up to 1,000 pounds
Cargo Bed:
Rear utility bed required
Capable of transporting test equipment
Load capacity shall support operational needs within total payload limits
3.3 Vehicle Features
Drivetrain: 4x4 capability required
Cab: Fully enclosed cab (hard cab or equivalent) suitable for all-weather operations
Fuel Type: Gasoline-powered
3.4 Safety and Street-Legal Equipment
UTVs shall be equipped with all features required for operation on installation roadways, including but not limited to:
Seatbelts for all seating positions
Rearview mirror
Side-view mirrors (left and right)
Turn signals
Headlights and brake lights
Horn
4.0 DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS
Delivery Location: PMT San Diego (140 Sylvester Rd, San Diego, CA 92106)
Delivery shall be made to a U.S. Navy installation in San Diego, CA. The contractor is responsible for coordinating delivery access and shall comply with all installation access requirements, including base entry procedures and identification requirements.
The contractor shall deliver all items within 120 days after contract award
Vehicles shall be delivered fully assembled, inspected, and ready for operational use
5.0 WARRANTY
The contractor shall provide a minimum manufacturer’s warranty of one (1) year
Warranty documentation shall be provided at time of delivery
6.0 ACCEPTANCE
Acceptance will occur upon delivery and inspection by the Government
Vehicles must meet all requirements outlined in this SOW
Any deficiencies shall be corrected by the contractor prior to final acceptance
